Plug and Play
The Smart Extra Battery connects to your DELTA Pro 3 via the included extra battery cable in seconds. There is no installer, no wiring loom, and no app setup required. Plug it in, switch it on, and the DELTA Pro 3 detects the extra battery automatically. Use it indoors as part of a stackable home backup setup, or take it on the road in a motorhome for extended off-grid runtime.

Expandable Capacity, Longer Runtime
Scale your DELTA Pro 3 setup to match the load you need to cover. One extra battery doubles total system capacity to 8kWh, enough to keep fridges, freezers, lighting, and home essentials running through most NZ winter outages. Add a second extra battery for 12kWh total, suitable for multi-day backup, off-grid bach setups, or running heavy appliances over a long weekend without mains power.

Automotive-Grade LFP Cells, 5-Year Warranty
Built with state-of-the-art automotive-grade LFP cells for safe, reliable, long-life performance. 4000 charge cycles to 80% of original capacity means a decade or more of regular use before the battery noticeably degrades. Backed by a 5-year warranty in New Zealand for peace of mind.

Energise Every Moment That Needs Electricity
Paired with the DELTA Pro 3's 4000W AC output and 230V capability, this extra battery extends runtime for almost every essential appliance in your home, motorhome, or workshop. From off-grid trips to job site power and home backup, one extra battery delivers the headroom most Kiwi households and motorhome owners actually need.

Pairs Well With
This extra battery is built primarily for the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 (plug-and-play, scales the system from 4kWh to 8kWh, or to 12kWh with two batteries). It is also cross-compatible with the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus and EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, expanding either of those units to around 6kWh or 7kWh total, respectively.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much total capacity can I get with the DELTA Pro 3 setup?
A standalone DELTA Pro 3 has 4096Wh of capacity. Adding one extra battery doubles the total system capacity to 8192Wh (around 8kWh). Adding a second extra battery takes the total system capacity to 12288Wh (around 12kWh). The DELTA Pro 3 supports a maximum of 2 extra batteries connected at one time.
How long is the warranty and how durable are the cells?
The DELTA Pro 3 Smart Extra Battery comes with a 5-year warranty in New Zealand. It uses automotive-grade LFP (LiFePO4) cells rated for 4000 charge cycles to 80% of original capacity. In practical terms, that means using it daily would still leave the battery at 80% or better health after roughly a decade of use.
How easy is it to connect the extra battery to the DELTA Pro 3?
It is a true plug-and-play connection. Use the included extra battery cable to connect the extra battery to the DELTA Pro 3's extra battery port, switch the battery on, and the power station detects it automatically and adds the extra capacity to the total available storage. No tools, no wiring, no electrician, and no app setup required.
Can I stack the extra battery on top of the DELTA Pro 3?
EcoFlow does not recommend stacking the extra battery directly on top of the power station. If you do need to stack for space reasons, place the power station and batteries with their long edges against a wall so the stack cannot tip over, and keep the area well ventilated. Side-by-side placement is the preferred setup for both home backup and indoor use.
