Overview

The BLUETTI B1210 is a 12.8V 100Ah deep-cycle battery built for trolling motors, camper fridges, lighting and camping power. It packs 1280Wh into a sealed case that weighs 11kg, around a third of the lead-acid battery it replaces. Bolt terminals and an IP65 casing make it at home on a transom, in a camper locker or in a portable power box. Its LiFePO4 chemistry is rated for 6000 charge cycles at 70% capacity, so it is built to cycle every day for years.

Cold is not a problem. A built-in self-heating film switches on below 0 degrees Celsius and warms the cells to about 25 degrees Celsius, as long as a charging source is connected. Charging is quick too: the B1210 accepts charge at up to 100A. When one battery is not enough, it connects up to 4 in series and 24 in parallel, growing to a bank of 122.8kWh. The Ethernet cable in the box carries the communication link between batteries; the power cables that join the terminals are not included. Grows With Your System

One B1210 runs a trolling motor or a camp fridge; a bank of them runs a whole system. The B1210 connects up to 4 in series and 24 in parallel (4S24P), scaling to a maximum of 122.8kWh at 51.2V with up to 2400A of combined current. The Ethernet cable in the box carries the communication link between batteries; the power cables that join the terminals are not included.

Tough Where Batteries Live

The B1210's battery management system pauses charging below -1°C or above 61°C, and discharging below -21°C or above 61°C, protecting the cells at the extremes. Its casing is rated IP65 against dust and water jets, and BLUETTI builds it with a fire-resistant shell. That is what a battery needs to live in a boat locker, on a camper's drawbar, or in the back of a ute.

Consistent Power, Even in the Cold

Ordinary lithium batteries stop accepting charge below freezing. The B1210's built-in self-heating film activates automatically when the battery drops below 0 degrees Celsius and warms the cells to about 25 degrees Celsius, needing only a state of charge above 2 percent and a steady charging source such as solar, shore power or vehicle DC. No switches and no manual heating: it keeps charging through a frosty morning on the lake.

Monitor Your Power With Ease

The BLUETTI app shows the B1210's state of charge, real-time voltage, current and power, charging or discharging status, battery temperature, remaining charge time and system capacity. Check the bank from the cab before you launch, instead of lifting the locker lid with a multimeter in hand.

The B1210 charges at up to 100A, with 50A the recommended rate. At the full rate BLUETTI quotes about 50 minutes to 80 percent and roughly 75 minutes to a full charge, around ten times faster than a comparable lead-acid battery.
