Overview

The BLUETTI B1232 is a 12.8V 314Ah deep-cycle battery built for medium to large motorhomes, 12V marine systems, solar storage and farm equipment. It packs 4019.2Wh into a single 29.3kg case, around a third of the weight of the 300Ah lead-acid capacity it stands in for, with bolt terminals, mounting brackets and a drilling template in the box for a permanent install. Its LiFePO4 chemistry is rated for 6000 charge cycles at 70% capacity, so it is built to cycle every day for years.

Cold mornings are not a problem either. A built-in self-heating film activates below 0 degrees Celsius and warms the cells to about 25 degrees Celsius whenever a charging source is connected, and the IP65 casing shrugs off spray and dust. The B1232 charges at up to 140A, and expands up to 4 in series and 24 in parallel for a maximum 385.8kWh bank; the Ethernet cable in the box carries the communication link between batteries, while the power cables that join the terminals are not included. If you're unsure how it fits your setup, we're happy to help before you buy.

BLUETTI key features banner for its LiFePO4 battery family, illustrated on the B1210 trolling motor battery: self-heating, intelligent BMS with IP65 water resistance and fire-resistant casing, modular expandability, app monitoring, 6000 plus cycles and a 10 year lifespan claim

Grows With Your System

One B1232 runs a big fridge, pumps and lighting; a bank of them runs a whole off-grid system. The B1232 connects up to 4 in series and 24 in parallel (4S24P), scaling to a maximum of 385.8kWh at 51.2V. The Ethernet cable in the box carries the communication link between batteries; the power cables that join the terminals are not included.

Tough Where Batteries Live

The B1232's battery management system pauses charging below -1°C or above 61°C, and discharging below -21°C or above 61°C, protecting the cells at the extremes. Its casing is rated IP65 against dust and water jets. That is what a battery needs to live in a boat, a caravan locker or a pump shed.

Consistent Power, Even in the Cold

Ordinary lithium batteries stop accepting charge below freezing. The B1232's built-in self-heating film activates automatically when the battery drops below 0 degrees Celsius and warms the cells to about 25 degrees Celsius, needing only a state of charge above 2 percent and a steady charging source such as solar, shore power or vehicle DC. No switches and no manual heating: it keeps charging through a frosty morning.

Monitor Your Power With Ease

The BLUETTI app shows the B1232's state of charge, real-time voltage, current and power, charging or discharging status, battery temperature, remaining charge time and system capacity. Check the bank from the cab or the cockpit instead of lifting the locker lid with a multimeter in hand.

Quick Recharge, Flexible Charging

Charging is quick for a battery this size: the B1232 accepts up to 140A of charge current, with 70A the recommended rate. At the full rate BLUETTI quotes about 2.25 hours to a full charge, around five times faster than a comparable lead-acid battery. Real-world times depend on your charger's output and the battery's temperature.

Built to Replace Lead-Acid

Against the 12V 300Ah lead-acid capacity it stands in for, the B1232 weighs 29.3kg instead of about 77kg in BLUETTI's own comparison, and is rated for 6000 cycles at 70% capacity where lead-acid typically manages a few hundred. BLUETTI also quotes roughly double the usable capacity and a 10-year design lifespan. The card below shows BLUETTI's numbers side by side.

Which Battery Fits Your System?

The B1232 is the high-capacity 12V unit of BLUETTI's deep-cycle family: more than three times the capacity of the B1210 at the same voltage, in a case one person can still lift into place. The card below shows the three batteries side by side.

Pairs Well With

The B1232 is the 12V backbone of a bigger setup: house power in a motorhome or launch, solar storage at the bach, or steady power for farm gear. Chargers, connection cables and the equipment it powers are sold separately, and any 12V charger you use should support a LiFePO4 charge profile. Not sure it fits your setup? Frequently Asked Questions

What is the B1232 built for?

The B1232 is a 12.8V 314Ah deep-cycle battery, 4019.2Wh in a single case, built for medium to large motorhomes and caravans, 12V marine systems, solar storage and agricultural equipment. It is the high-capacity 12V unit of BLUETTI's deep-cycle family, with bolt terminals and mounting hardware made for permanent installs.

Can the B1232 replace my 12V lead-acid batteries?

Yes. The B1232 is built as a 12V deep-cycle replacement: at approximately 29.3kg it is around a third of the weight of the 12V 300Ah lead-acid capacity it stands in for, in BLUETTI's own comparison, and it is rated for 6000 charge cycles at 70% capacity, far beyond typical lead-acid life. Check your charger supports LiFePO4 charge profiles, and if you're unsure about fit, we're happy to help before you buy.

Can I connect more than one B1232 together?

Yes. The B1232 expands up to 4 in series and 24 in parallel (4S24P), for a maximum bank of 385.8kWh at 51.2V. The Ethernet cable in the box carries the communication link between batteries; the power cables that join the terminals are not included.
