Awesome customer service from Harry! Very happy with the AC180P. I use it in my truck instead of a second battery. I have 330w panel on the roof, it drops to 80% running fridge, lights, chargers etc overnight then recharges in a couple of hrs sunlight. Perfect, and so easy to install.
I’ve been thinking to create my own little off-grid solar controller/battery/inverter for a while, even got most of the parts - though most let me down early in the project. I spotted EcoFlow’s new Delta 2 Max, but then found the AC180P which was almost as powerful, but about half the price. It’s worked brilliantly, charging off a 300W 24V solar panel, charging phones and happily running a DeWalt Circular Drop Saw! Next test is a small fridge freezer. Anywhere other than NZ you stand a chance of building your own custom setup cheaper, but here we have less options and I believe the AC180P is good value for money and you’d be hard pressed to recreate something of similar quality and specs for less.
