Overview

The EcoFlow 110W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel is a compact, easy-to-carry foldable panel built for hikers, freedom campers, weekenders, and anyone who wants a simple way to keep a small power station topped up off-grid. At just 3.3kg and a folded size that slides easily into a vehicle or backpack, it is one of the most travel-friendly solar panels in the EcoFlow range.

An integrated 30 to 60 degree adjustable stand and built-in solar angle guide help you point the panel at the sun without fiddling with separate stands or ground spikes. The bifacial design captures sunlight on both sides for up to 122W output under BNPI test conditions, and the IP68 rating means dust, rain showers, and splashes are no issue. Best suited to small power stations such as the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, and compatible with most other power stations using the XT60i input.

EcoFlow 110W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel set up outdoors charging a power station

Lightweight, Foldable, and Travel-Ready

At just 3.3kg, the 110W panel is 0.7kg lighter than the previous EcoFlow model, making it noticeably easier to carry for long walks, hikes, and freedom camping trips. Folded down to 544 x 413 x 36mm, it slips into the boot of a car, the back of a van, or even a large daypack. Pull it out, unfold it, prop up the integrated stand, and start charging.

Bifacial Design Captures More Light

Unlike traditional one-sided solar panels, the bifacial design captures sunlight from both the front and rear surfaces of the panel. Set the panel up on a reflective surface (light gravel, sand, snow, or a light-coloured tarp) and the rear cells pick up reflected and ambient light, pushing output up to 122W under BNPI test conditions. Real-world gains depend on conditions, but in practice, this means you generate more energy from the same amount of sun than a comparable single-sided panel.

EcoFlow 110W solar panel TOPCon technology high efficiency

25% Conversion Efficiency with TOPCon Cells

The new N-type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon cells deliver an industry-leading 25% conversion efficiency, meaning more of the sunlight that hits the panel is turned into usable electricity. For NZ users, that translates to faster top-ups for your power station even on overcast or cooler days, where less efficient panels struggle.

EcoFlow 110W solar panel adjustable kickstand 30 to 60 degrees

30 to 60 Degree Adjustable Stand and Angle Guide

The folding integrated bracket adjusts from 30 to 60 degrees, suitable for NZ's mid-latitude sun angles all year round. The built-in solar angle guide helps you line the panel up to the sun for maximum output, no extra tools or apps needed. Just look at the indicator and tilt until it shows perfect alignment.

Not recommended for permanent outdoor mounting or hanging on vehicles long-term. For permanent installations on roofs or walls, use rigid solar panels instead.

EcoFlow 110W solar panel IP68 water and dust resistance

IP68 Rated for NZ Weather

With an IP68 rating, the panel surface is fully protected against dust ingress and can handle heavy rain, splashes, and brief immersion. Ideal for unpredictable Kiwi weather, beach trips, and bach use. As with all panels in this range, avoid leaving the connector area submerged or in standing water.

Pairs Well with Smaller Power Stations

The 110W output is best suited to smaller portable power stations like the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus and other RIVER series units, where 110W of input is enough for a meaningful daily top-up without overkill. It is also compatible with most other power stations that accept an XT60i input, including third-party brands using the same connector.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which EcoFlow power stations is the 110W panel best suited to?

The 110W output is well matched to smaller power stations like the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus and the wider RIVER series. It will charge larger DELTA series units too, but you will see slower top-ups simply because the panel output is small relative to those bigger batteries. For a DELTA series unit, you may want the EcoFlow 220W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel or EcoFlow 400W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel instead.

Will it work with non-EcoFlow power stations?

Yes, the panel uses an XT60i-F connector and is compatible with most third-party portable power stations that accept an XT60i input. Always check your power station's input specs (voltage range, current, and connector type) before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

Is it suitable for hiking, freedom camping, and tramping?

Yes, the 110W is the most travel-friendly panel in EcoFlow's lightweight range. At 3.3kg and folded down to 544 x 413 x 36mm, it is light enough for tramping in NZ and small enough to fit in a vehicle, van, or large pack. The IP68 rating handles unexpected showers and the integrated stand removes the need for separate accessories.

Can I leave the panel set up outside permanently?

No. EcoFlow specifically advises against long-term outdoor mounting, hanging on vehicles, or permanent fixed installations. For roof, wall, or vehicle-mounted setups, use a rigid solar panel instead. The lightweight portable panel is designed to be set up, used, and packed away.

Does the panel come with a carry case or extension cable?

No. The 110W Lightweight panel ships with the panel and built-in XT60i-F output cable only. There is no protective carry case, no extension lead, and no MC4 adapter included. EcoFlow's new lightweight range uses an XT60i-F connector rather than the older MC4 standard, which means previous EcoFlow extension cables and MC4 adapter leads are not compatible. EcoFlow has not yet released an official XT60i-F extension cable, so plan your setup around the built-in cable length. If you need a longer reach to your power station, contact us before purchase and we can advise on options.
