Wire-Free Connection & Standalone USB-C Use

The EB300 connects to the RIVER 3 Plus using EcoFlow's wire-free Pogo Pin connection. No external cables, no screws, just stack and clip. The EB300 also works on its own as a 286Wh USB-C battery thanks to its built-in 140W USB-C port, so you can take it on lighter trips and leave the RIVER 3 Plus at home. The EB300 does not provide AC output by itself, only USB-C.

Expandable Capacity Configurations

The RIVER 3 Plus supports one extra battery. The EB300 (286Wh) gives you a total combined capacity of 572Wh in this RIVER 3 Max configuration. If you need more capacity and don't mind the extra weight, the EB600 (572Wh) is the larger alternative, taking total capacity up to 858Wh in the RIVER 3 Max Plus configuration.

Faster AC Charging When Stacked

With the EB300 attached, the RIVER 3 Max accepts up to 650W of AC input, faster than the standalone RIVER 3 Plus at 360W. Full top-up takes around 1 hour from a NZ wall outlet, so you can have the full 572Wh ready to go between morning coffee and heading out for the day.

Built to the Same Quality Standard

Both the RIVER 3 Plus and the EB300 use LiFePO4 battery chemistry with 3000 cycles to 80% capacity, around 10 years of everyday use before noticeable degradation. The internal battery packs are rated IP54 against splashes and dust, and EcoFlow's X-Guard protection covers over 40 safety measures across current, voltage, temperature, and circuit risks. The full power station should still be protected from rain, water exposure, and immersion.
