Overview

The BLUETTI PV100 FX is a twin pack of 100W flexible solar panels built to be mounted where a rigid or folding panel will not go: the curved roof of a motorhome or caravan, a boat's cabin top, or a balcony railing. Each panel bends to 240 degrees, weighs 2.2kg and measures 1000 x 590mm, so one person can lift the pair into place and fix them without a frame.

Mounting is drill free: each panel hangs by straps or cord through its corner grommets, or can be fixed down with a suitable adhesive (not included). Output runs through standard MC4 leads into a power station's solar input, and with a 41.4V open circuit voltage the panels pair with the BLUETTI AC70P, AC180P and AC200P L, and in parallel with the RV5 power hub. Up to 23.4% Cell Efficiency

Each PV100 FX panel uses monocrystalline silicon cells laminated under a high performance coating, with cell efficiency of up to 23.4%. More of the sunlight landing on the panels becomes usable charge for the power station they feed, which matters most on short winter days and part-shaded sites.

Built for Vans, Boats and Balconies

The PV100 FX pack is made for fixed mounting on the vehicles and spaces Kiwis actually use: a motorhome or bus conversion roof, a boat's cabin top, or an apartment balcony railing. Run the two panels side by side on one roof, or split them between the van and the boat. Once mounted they stay put and keep feeding your power station wherever the vehicle is parked or moored.

Bends to 240 Degrees, Rated IP67

A flat roof, a curved cab top or an uneven deck all take the same panel: each PV100 FX bends to 240 degrees and follows the surface it is fixed to. The laminate carries an IP67 rating against dust and water splash, so a passing shower on the road is no drama. BLUETTI does advise against leaving the panels soaking in water or running them through extreme weather, so bring them in when a real storm rolls through.

Layered HPC, EVA and LBC Construction

The laminate is built in layers: a clear high performance coating on top, high transparency EVA cushioning the monocrystalline cells, and a waterproof LBC backsheet sealing the underside. The result is a panel thin enough to bend and tough enough to stay on a roof through the seasons.

Drill-Free Mounting: Straps or Adhesive

There are two ways up and neither needs a drill. Hang each panel with straps or cord through its corner grommets, or fix it in place with a suitable adhesive (not included). A strapped panel comes off again in minutes, so the pair can move between the ute, the boat and the bach as the season demands.

Pairs Well With

The PV100 FX pack is for keeping a power station topped up where it lives: in the van, on the boat or at the bach. The panels' MC4 outputs and 41.4V open circuit voltage suit the solar inputs of the BLUETTI AC70P (864Wh), the AC180P (1440Wh) and the AC200P L (2304Wh), running the pair in parallel. Frequently Asked Questions

Which BLUETTI power stations can the PV100 FX charge?

The panels' 41.4V open circuit voltage and MC4 outputs suit the solar inputs of the AC70P, the AC180P and the AC200P L, and the RV5 power hub takes them in parallel. Before connecting any other model, check that its solar input voltage range covers 41.4V. If you own a different power station, ask us and we'll confirm the fit before you buy.

Will it charge the smaller BLUETTI stations?

No. The AC50P's solar input accepts 12V to 28V, and the PV100 FX's 41.4V open circuit voltage sits outside that window, so the panel cannot charge it. The same check applies to any compact station: its solar input range must cover 41.4V.

How do I connect the two panels together?

In parallel, and only in parallel: BLUETTI's user guide warns that connecting the panels in series stacks their voltages and is an electric shock danger. Run in parallel the pair keeps its 41.4V open circuit voltage while the current doubles, so check your power station's solar input current limit, and keep the total voltage under its input ceiling. If in doubt, ask us and we'll talk it through.

How do they mount without drilling?

Two ways: hang each panel with straps or cord through the corner grommets, or fix it down with a suitable adhesive (not included). Neither needs a hole drilled in the roof, and a strapped panel can be taken off and moved to another vehicle in minutes.

Are the panels waterproof?

Each panel carries an IP67 rating, with the laminate sealed by a waterproof LBC backsheet, so splash and rain showers are no problem. BLUETTI's guide does advise against leaving a panel sitting in rain or water for long periods and against using it in extreme weather like thunderstorms, so treat them as weather resistant rather than indestructible.

Does the PV100 FX fold for storage?

No. It is a flexible panel rather than a folding one: each sheet bends to 240 degrees so it can follow a curved surface, but it stays one 1000 x 590mm panel. If you want a panel that packs down for camping trips, a folding panel such as the PV100 or the SORA-500 is the better fit.

What comes in the box?

Two PV100 FX panels, each with its output lead ending in standard MC4 connectors, plus two 0.5m MC4 cable sets and a user manual with warranty card. The pack is covered by a 12-month warranty.
